Need some good advice... I want is to chop the rear fender, but I would prefer to keep the original. Where should I look to purchase this style rear fender, if possible, already painted? Thanks
Are you looking for the new style wide glide fender like the one in the pic I attached? What color?
I looked at the fiche and the frames are different part numbers, but I know that I have seen this fender on an older dyna (https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...treet-bob.html). Maybe someone with more info can chime in on if it is compatible with the wide glide. I know that Harley sells them pre-painted and primered. Try Surdyke and Newcastle Harley.
Did some research.. 06 was the year they replaced the swing arm so its the same as on the 2013. I lucked out, I can put the fender from the new bob on my bike, just have to replace the fender struts. Also means I have the option of a 180 rear tire! Wanting to change the color of the bike to black or blue. I like the yellow tank with ghost flames, but not the biggest fan of yellow. Easiest fix for me is changing the fenders and battery box cover to matt black.
