Default Screwed by fleabay again!
I ordered turn signals on eBay and they came yesterday. I checked them out and they were decent. So i go down and remove the stock signal and plate mount and cut the wires, but when I went to install the new ones, the threading was too short to go through the struts. Now I'm screwed with no turn signals. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to get some that fit? I was tying not to go to Harley cause I'm on a budget but I might have to now.

This should present no big deal. Figure out the size of threads, and make or have made a thimble to fit on both ends.

I had same problem I went to ace hardware and bought t nuts that went from inside fender to struts and allowed me to use ebay turn signals

Can't you just swap out the short threaded rod for a longer one? I don't think turn signals are made in one single process.

I wish I could but this cheap stuff from Japan was dipped in rubber and I'm afraid if I peel it out, it won't go back together. I'm gonna check out the t nut option.

So, is it "fleabay's" fault or your's for maybe not asking the seller the right question(s)?
