My son put touring air shocks on his sportster and the difference Is like night and day. Run about 22 psi.
Does shotgun shock make them for the switchback ?

pulled the schrader valves out and hung them upside down in the garage for 3 days.. got 9oz out of 1 and about 10oz out of the other, knew they were low as when shipped to me they weren't completely sealed and there was oil in the box.. they only hold 11oz each total anyway..
had a brand new small bottle for oiling my air tools laying around that i never used, holds 4oz and has a pin point tip on it, measured out 11oz and refilled them.. been perfect ever since..
also someone asked about airing them up
i bought a pump off of ebay for $30 that works great, does 1lb increments which is what you want so make sure you check before buying as a lot of them out there only do 2lb
Shane, when I had my Sportster the fellows there talked about putting some RoadKing airshocks on theirs to soften the ride. So I tried it myself and what a difference it made, rode really smooth with no bottoming out. So far I haven't tried it on my Superglide, but may in the future the ride for now isn't too bad. I at 250 lbs, not quite as heavy as you, but would do it again in a minute. I used to run with 20 psi in the roadking shocks with no bottoming out. Got em new on e-bay for 130 dollars as I recall.
