Default Floorboard Kit On

I havent been active on here for a while but I was happy to find out there was a floor board kit. Just got them on today and have a couple questions.
-Anyone finding it is a bitch to get it into neutral now?
-Whats with the no heel shifter? Anyone found one that will work?
Besides those two things I love having boards again.

There should be no issues, just remove the shifter and adjust it upwards so you can fit your boot under it. You can source an FLD shifter if that is what you are looking for. Personally I don't have one on mine and like it that way.

FLD does not have a heel shifter, the kit available is the same exact thing the FLD has stock. Part number should be 50500247.

Did the FLD boards on mine. Not sure on heel/toe but yes having a miserable time with nuetral because I didnt switch the shift arm on the tranny. I remeber reading before that it was a different length and had different "leverage" ? But by the end of last season I was used to it and found nuetral easy. Driving me nuts right now.

Finding neutral is a little tricky but you'll get used to it soon enough. I think it's simply because of the long linkage removing some of the feel.

I too installed the floorboard kit and have found nuetral harder to find. But I also never replaced the tranny linkage arm which I think will make adifference when I do. Other than the neutral issue i love the boards.

Will swapping out to the longer lever make it easier to shift/find neutral? Or more importantly, can the lever be swapped out without removing the primary? I left the shorter lever in since i wasn't willing to sacrifice ride time on finding out.
