Well I went down when swerving to avoid a an asshat that cut me off. I lost the bike when I encountered some gravel/sand and road debris. Both the bike and I are suffering some road rash. Driver left the scene leaving the scene. So no one to hold accountable unfortunately. I decided to fix it myself to save from insurance being raised due to the accident. I haven't had a ticket or accident in well of ten years.
So it looks like I need a new rear signal, license plate bracket, outer primary drive and derby cover (leaks with stock cover put back on), shifter lever, left tank medallion, left grip, left footpeg, and front brake rotor (loose "rivets") and eventually-someday- a repaint. Hopefully that is it. Anyone have an idea if there is more that looks like it would need replacement?
Got oil all over final drive belt- think that may need replacement sooner now. The front caliper took a hit and scratched up- think it will need replacement? The hit on the caliper apparently is what knocked the rotor out of whack.
Looks to be about $800 of damage as I have found some deals on replacement parts. If anybody has any of the above mention parts laying around, I would definitely be interested! Now for the pics...

**** thats a gnarly rash on your back... I wish I had some parts to help you out with but I'm in the same boat right now. That REALLY sucks you just got left there, dude leaving the scene...
Ya, people out here routinely hit and run to avoid being held responsible. On a positive note, I will be upgrading the trashed parts for chrome. Going with a chromed front rotor and chrome primary cover. Thinking of going with a DK Custom side license plate...
Hey Rock! Man, I hate to see that happen to anyone. Having been there I know you're going to be sore for awhile, but hope you and your bike make a speedy recovery and can get back on the road soon.
I have the OEM TC-96 derby cover that I took off after only a few hundred miles. It's not "showroom fresh" but still very useable and I would gladly mail it to you if you can use it - just PM me.

I tried my OEM cover and it still leaks, guessing I need a new outer primary cover.
that sucks! the caliper is fine. if you really want we can clean up all that rach on it and coat it... the rotor may need replaced but you are going to have to check that with a dial. the same with the primary that does not look structural, so clean up and re coat that sucker and you should be good, glad you are ok man
