next project.... pro/con
I raised it by putting stock shocks on and it rides way better and still looks great.
However, I always say do it like you want, you are the only one that has to be happy.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders

I've always had slammed harleys and love it. I don't ride aggressive, I just cruise around. Been to the dragons tail once with my slammed fatboy, and twice with my slammed road king. Scraped a few times, so I just started taking the corners a little slower.
Like the other guys have said, if you ride aggressive, do corners and stuff, probably better not to slam it, unless you really wanna slow down through the turns.
I have a like new (like new as in, i installed it for the previous owner 2 years ago, and they only put 500 miles on the bike) 1" lowering block off my '02 lowrider that I'm gonna list when I get around to it, and also the stock 12" shocks. If you're interested in the lowering kit, I'd cut you a deal. It is taking up space on my garage floor at the moment... I assume it will fit all dynas, haven't really researched it yet though....
When I took it off, I put in the 10.5" burly slammers. Only took it for a test ride and I like it. Only thing is that the fender hits the belt guard when I bottom the shock out (I bottomed out intentionally to find out what I would need to trim). I dont think a 12" shock with 1" lowering bracket hits anything though.
