Default next project.... pro/con

I'm 6'4" to start

Would slamming the *** end make it more uncomfortable for riding when I do cruise (on rare occasions I have to admit, I enjoy just putting around) looking for pros and cons of slamming

Or should I slam it and just deal with it because it looks bad a**

Lowering our bikes has a negative impact on performance most of the time sadly. The ride will probably be a bit stiffer and lean angle will change a little.

As in how stiff how much less, I'm not a crazy cornerer to begin with I love straight and fast don't forget the quickest distance between point A and B is 100% throttle

I'm 5'6" and ride aggressively. My bikes have to be lowered or seat chopped or both. The suspension does get noticeably stiffer. Way less give. But with the right pipes you can still corner well and not drag. I'm running Vance and Hines short duals and haven't drug em yet. My old sporty I had a thunder header on drug on everything, but I rode more aggressive then than now. If you lower and don't like it, there is always a resell market for shocks.

Even high end shocks like progressives when they are shortened... ride rougher.. simple physics.. less/shorter shock + less spring travel and dampening for absorbing bumps and to prevent bottoming out = stiffer ride..

Con: Lowering the rear of the bike to achieve the more "bulldogish"(High nose low rear) look... makes leaning the bike more of an effort and makes for a slower 'track' through the twisties..

Pro: It looks T I T.. and straight line travel (avoiding bad bumps if possible) is a snap..

I think it's time to lower and resell if I don't like it

You get better cornering when raised. I had my stock shocks at 12'', and then lowered down to 10" with some lowering blocks. In my opinion, thats the way to go. You get better shock travel than a 10.5 shock, and you achieve that low badass look. ( and its way cheaper) Plus, I didn't notice a 'huge' cornering difference. There was a difference, but not enough for me to care. I enjoy the slammed look and ride way better. And I've put 12k on it like that, no regrets.
