help with headlight

I have a '97 SuperGlide and the headlight mounts to an aluminum duckbill which mounts to the top of the triple trees. I'm not overly found of that look and want to go with a look like on the newer models with a totally exposed headlight bucket. Any ideas on howI can mount this? There is no hole in the lower triple tree to put it in. DoI need a mounting brace????

I am flying blind here and could use your help!

Do some searching on the net. I can't find the link but there are some articles where people drilled their bottom triple tree and mounted a bottom mount headlight. Then you have the problem of hiding the bid plug and wiring that is hid under the headlight visor. Can be done though.

You could also make a plate that mounts to the 2 holes and have it come out far enough to mount a aftermaket headlight upside down. It might look pretty cool????
