I always get the helmet to helmet smack when stopping and someone else is not paying attention, o and the extra weight coming forwards also. Usually after the first couple of stops and starts that settles down. Most of it is my fault because I don't add enough stopping distance. My second favorite is when she decides to take a picture as you are going into the corner and then adjusts to the corner so I have to adjust the bike.
Haha... I liked the part about her taking a picture while in a corner.

I was thinking the same thing! I was eyeing a sand bag I have in the garage

Good luck and welcome to the forum!
Thanks man.. yeah.. I am riding my scooter all over, as much as I can. We started talking about trips on the bike, and how much fun it is etc. Just today, I jumped on the bike and went to take some movies back to the redbox hoping to beat the storm that was rolling in. I got about 1/3 of the way to the nearest box when it down poured on me. Rain stings! So I pulled off, onto a side street and debated waiting it out there or pressing on. The big bolt of lightning made up my mind as I look up at the tree I am sitting under. So I ride on. Not too much further, it absolutely unleashes on me. I am drenched, so I pulled into an old supermarket that has been closed for years and years and I pull up under the old overhang of the store. Good thing I did, it started to hail. I waited out the storm and rode on.
I liked this APP my wife found called MyRadar (for the iphone) I sat there and watched the storm, then I saw my chance (a clearing in the storm) once that was overhead I took off down the road.
Another App my wife told me about is one called Waze. That one is about traffic, and you can text others going the other direction so they can tell you what happened that is blocking traffic. You can text with anyone in the area, but most helpful are the ones going the other way. I think this is a good app to have to avoid long traffic back up's in the heat of the summer.
