I put a set of fog lights on my crash bars. They're wired to a switch installed at the left grip. I leave them on as running lights during the day. I've heard of people hooking them up so they are on when the headlight is on low bearm and go off when the high beam comes on -- interesting idea.

My only complaint about them so far is they throw light on the front forks which creeps me out because my "inner rider" is telling me there's a car tailgating me.

I too have the HD fog lamps on my crash bar. I drilled the bar and wired them internally. The destructions call for them to be wired to the low-beam headlamp. I ride with my high-beam on during the day so I just wired them directly and mounted the pushbutton switch on the lower left bar clamp bolt. I can switch them on and off as needed.

I used Motolights, mounted on the forks down near the brake caliper. Easy to install and look like they are part of the bike with the brushed finish.
