Switch lettering

Okay so my bike is far from perfect, a fact which I have accepted at this point, but one thing that has always bothered me is that the silkscreened words on the RUN, START, HORN, etc. buttons has worn off. Of course I know what everything does but aesthetically it bothers me. I was wondering if I can replace just the plastic part of the switches, not the housings or electronics. I don't really want anything fancy just the OEM black with white lettering.

Sure you can replace them...probably even find new take offs as people buy the chrome ones. But it will just happen again....

After a bit of looking i've found some chrome ones for sale but no black. Do the chrome ones stand up to abuse better than the black..?

Thinking about it.. These are worn from the previous owner who kept it as an outside bike. It's garaged now so they shouldn't wear out nearly as fast... right?
