2013 FXDB tail relocation... not from Harley



Now, that looks pretty simple, but there's a couple things to note here.
First, the original bullets are threaded for 5/16, and the mounting hardware and the wires share separate holes in the stock standoff's.
The detachable hardware kit requires 3/8's bolts front and rear for the bushings.
Long story short, we took 2.5 inch, 3/8 x 16 bolts and drilled 9/64'th holes thru them, then drilled and tapped some front bullets (the rears are contoured differently for the stand offs) for 3/8's. Add in the HD side mount plate kit for the 12's and older and there it is. The cheapest? No. Easiest? Huh, if you've ever dried to drill thru a grade 5 bolt length wise with a cordless drill, then you should know that no, it wasn't easy. But, I think it looks pretty dang good on there.
