Default handlebars

I'm wanting to change the stock handlebars that came with dyna lowrider (04) and am wondering about the W050 Wild 1 that would have internal wiring or something like the Milwaukee Twins. Both bars have riser and bar welded together. Anyone done this on a dyna? If yes, happy? What changes needed to be made (wiring, cables)? Did turn signals need to be relocated? I have memphis shades slims shield and lowers that i like and don't want to lose in process if possible. Thanks

Mac(Pilot1996) put Wild1's on his Electra Glide Standard, and has all the details for making the change. Maybe he will check in. If not you could PM his and get the information you need.

Regards,

Bill

I put the WO500's with a six inch rise on my 05 Superglide. If you have about two hours and some simple tools, its easy. To save time and hassle, I cut the wires behind the headlight and butt connected them. DGlide 04 did it the professional way by taking the wires back to the Deutsche connectors under the tank and reassembled the connectors.

You'll probably have to relocate the turn signals. The stock cables work fine. Most important, the front end will be much firmer. The grip position is as close to stock as you can get it.

Dyna?

Did your new bars bring the grips any closer to your body or are they in stock position as you indicated and basically allowed nicer look and internal wiring.

I'm looking to get stock bars about 2 inches closer to me for more comfort and control.

If you want the bars that offer what appears to be a lower and closer hand position, check this out: http://www.wild1inc.com/wo560e.html

DGLIDE04 has posted some pics of his bike with these bars -- one nice ride.

I did the WO 560's on my '04 and I couldn't be happier with them. Here's a picture of the finished job. If I can be of any help, let me know, there are a few things that you need to know ahead of time if you plan on doing the job yourself, like taking your time, it's not an hour long job. I'll try to post more pictures in the Photo Gallery section since we're kind of limited in what size pics we can post here. The 560's specs are about a 4" rise and 14.5" pullback, nice low drag type bar, about 30" wide, very comfortable hand position.
