Assuming the bike is new, I'm not sure it's wise to hit the rev limiter before going thru some type of break in period.
If your used to riding a sport bike that 5800 RPM rev limiter comes up pretty quick.I doubt it will hurt anything to hit it once in a while accidentally on purpose. As soon as I hook up my SERT I'm bumping that sucker up to 6200.
The V twin is a torque monster and is happy at alot lower RPM than the rice engines. My neighbor had a Buel and was use to shifting at 4500 to 5500RPM, and he sold it and bought a Hybusa and for the longest time would shift it low like he was still on the Buel It was funny at first because some of the other guys riding with us use to pass him up like he was standing still! LOL!But no more! it was fun while it lasted!!!
I think those are either stock SG bars or stock Duece bars, but with different risers. I just told the guys at the dealer that i liked both of those set-ups and they made itwork for me.
