Definitely! I just rebuilt it with the help of friends (I had an accident on February, and we just put it back together) so the problem could be anywhere...any ideas on where to start checking? I think I'll make a thread about it later this week and pick on all your brains.
I would tend to think you have a short. What happened or what were you doing just before it popped?
Signal, brake (front or rear), high beam, hit bump or tracks, hard braking, tight corner? If you can narrow down the just before, it will help find root cause.
Also, that is your main fuse, so check your battery connections first.
The fuse is in place to protect your wires/components from getting too much current. If you ride with the makeshift wire for too long...it will show itself in the form of melted insulation or fried components. Would definitely check for a short to ground. If it is intermittent, makes it that much tougher to find. Good luck.
