i just ordered the shocks from my local parts place, and been talkign with viair on compressor specs to see if they have one a bit more compact then the 98c everyone has been using and frightprops.com is sendign my an air in/ air out 12v solinoid for a dump vlave. hoping to have everythign ready to install by end of augest.
Could this be mounted on the outside of the hard bag (touring style), in the pocket where the shock goes on the touring bikes, there is nothing there when riding, just a thought. I don't know how big the parts are that you want to mount, some pictures would be helpful.

i have $185 into my whole system! that is the compressor, shocks, fittings, bushings, selenoid, release, switch, guage, and materials to fab the guage mount... $225 for the exact same compressor i paid $45 for is insane!
that said... Thank you for the idea!!! you are 100% correct the compressor will tuck in right under the case behind the front pipe. just going to have to fab up/create a mount for it... then i can tuck and hide all the wires... i dig this location as you will never see it! thanks for sharing, i was a bit lost as to where to stick this sucker!
if anyone is intrested in this, you can google homemade harley air ride. i know a TON of guys that run this on their bagger set ups, being that the back sides of our frames are almost identical it is a win win. i will have this completed by the end of the weekend. i just have to finish mock up, then lay some paint on the shocks (the stock satin black will not work for me and looks cheap) the only thing i worry about is the custom pipe i run... with the upsweep it may cause the passanger peg mount to hit when i go full extension... so we will see if I end up running this or not (that is a deal breaker) ill take pics and do a full tutorial when i do the install.
