Default 110 engine in 2011 Street Bob Upgrade - any experience

As part of my bob/bagger project looking to upgrade the engine to a 110 screamin eagle - anyone any experience of this

Why not a 107? Could be more economic and get great numbers too.

I. Also asked myself the same question...... Why not a 107 instead of a 110?
Seems like a lot of work pulling the motor and machining the casings just for 3CI !

Yep. To go 110 you have to pull the motor, split the cases and have them bored. If you're going to do that you might as well go 113 or 117 plus have the flywheels done. What are your goals? If you're looking for under 120hp/tq I'd leave the flywheels and cases and do a 107.

My dyno tuner doesn't like the 110. He does the 107 with awesome results.
If you do it...don't skimp on the tune

just buy a 120R and bolt it in....what ever you do listen to rooti.....don't skimp on the tune.......

Fuelmoto has a very popular 107 package right now. Many options including one installed with extras for under 2k. Even cheaper if you core swap and install yourself. They are a well liked vendor on the forum. Many happy customers here. Worth looking into.

As said above, go with 107. If you want to split the cases anyway, go with a 4.125 inch bore cylinder and build a 117ci
