Default Thunderheader without changing A/C possible?

Sorry for the noobie ? .. Can i put the thunderheader on without changing my A/C and not getting it tuned for ahwile? will i F*** anything up if i do that? Just saving up for the TTS and Dyno.... Its killing me that my TH is just sitting in the garage staring at me...SMH!!

Since an engine is just an air pump, why bother to improve the outflow without improving the inlet. The improvement in performance would be minimal. Best bet would be to install the air cleaner, exhaust, tuner and map at the same time if you are looking for results.

Yes. Just changing the exhaust is fine. Its when you change the A/C that the bike may run more lean, more air in, that you need to consider a fuel management system.

Correct, nothing wrong with doing the exhaust and waiting till you get the $ to do the intake.

You'll be fine just changing the exhaust...and it will sound better.

Then when you do the A/C and tuner, you will like it even more (sound and power wise).
