Question Odd sound from engine

After returning home from work last night, the engine sounded odd, like something was rubbing or whining. Sounded similar to a loose belt on a engine. Any help in identifying?
Engine is stock 88 ci from an 04 Dyna
Attached is a YouTube Link of the engine running.

How many miles on the bike?
Does it have gear cams?
It sounds like gear cams or cam tensioners.
Just guessing because you have the sound on the right side.

Does it have gear cams?
No everything is stock
Would a video taken on the other side of the bike be better?

I would pull the cam cover off, simple to do and would lose a couple oz of oil, check the tensioners front and rear, unless previous owner installed gear drive cams then you would know for sure,

My old '99 Electra Glide had the exact same sound at around 30K. Cam chain shoes. Motor had to be completely torn down and freshened up.

Yikes, that sounds expensive.

I spoke to the mechanic I'm going to use (HWY 66 Choppers) and he ball parked $1500 for the easy fix, or $4000 if the engines thrashed. May have to sell the cage....

Sorry to hear that. At least it's fixable...was it the cam tensioner shoes?

What does the $1500 "easy fix" consist of?
