Default First Scraped Peg!! Haha!

Haha! Well, I'm getting closer to the club, one step at a time. I know....total "noob" post, but hey, it was interesting.

I haven't been riding very long and recently purchased my beautiful Wide Glide (first motorcycle) but today I went out to continue improving my riding skills around a more crowded area and scraped my first peg. I'm not you guys yet, but I'll get there!

Have a great weekend and ride safe!

I don't lean far enough to scrape pegs. I did lean far enough to scrape the heal of my right boot once, scared myself a little on that one.

The boards on my RK are worn to a knife edge.

I don't scrape much, but I remeber my first one. I was on a honda shadow going through north Arkansas through some twisties .... I think I did more damage to my shorts than the pegs.... I think I was about about 17 and thought I was about to bite it!

I've never scraped my pegs and don't think I want to. I have scraped my boots heels quite often though.

Hello firewoman
If you get your boots repaired with a metal bit on the it will stop the wear and leave a nice trail of sparks the next time you tip it in.

I have always like to scrape hard parts...wife doesn't like it, so with her on I position my boots so they'll scrape before the peg or floorboard..still fun and let's me know not to go any further.

quite normal on the old FXR in the hills. Does tend to get expensive so I now only use cheaper from pegs...lol
