This is for the fins and the black areas he is speaking of the rocker covers which are chrome.

Not a direct answer, but Powder Pro has powder coated (black) rocker covers that they'll exchange for yours to prevent excessive downtime. Replacing them isn't too hard and it's a really clean look.
