I have a quick detach backrest on my 07 Lowrider that vibrates bad when you back off the throttle. Is there any possible fixes
Seems they all do that. You can try wrapping some electrical tape around the post's. Doesn't take much. Best fix is to remove it when not needed. Or always carry a passanger. Personally, I'm looking at ditching the quicky and doing a custom hard mount.

That's what I did (electrical tape) and it worked until the tape wore out. Black Gorilla tape lasts longer.
I switched to a Bowman hard mount since I couldn't get it to work with my saddlebags.
Mine vibrates and sounds something nasty while riding with no passenger. The horrible streets here in Tucson don't help either. My pal said he actually pulled the quick mount apart and stretched it open a bit. That way he had to squeeze them back together a bit to mount it. Said it worked. I don't want to bend mine all up. Mine actually stays in the garage all the time anyway....
Ya that works. But it's just a "short-term" fix. You can't tell that it has been bent. All you do is stretch or compress it just a little. Just enough to make the fit tighter.
I have heard of people having rattling issues however mine does not. Perhaps it is because it is really tight and in fact it is a bit difficult to install and removing it is tough since the latches require a bit of muscle to release.

On the rear mounting points on my Wide Glide I wrapped a small rubber band on each side of the bike. The rubber band took up the slack between the backrest mounting point and the mounts on the bike. I had to try several different sizes until I got it just right but it works really well.
