I have heard of people having rattling issues however mine does not. Perhaps it is because it is really tight and in fact it is a bit difficult to install and removing it is tough since the latches require a bit of muscle to release.

Maybe the docking poly or locking hardware is worn out. Has the OP tried new docking hardware or replacing the locks? I'd figure these parts will eventually wear out and become loose depending how often you put them on and remove them.
Mine goes on about a half dozen times a year so my wife can ride with me. Other than that, it sits in the garage collecting dust.
They either rattle, or they eventually will.
Solution....Teflon tape not electrical. Make 10-13 wraps around each rear mount with the Teflon tape & this will solve your problem. Maybe every few thousand miles you will have to redo it, but this works. Been doing this for about 7,000 miles on mine & still quiet. Wrap it as tight as you can. If you get too much, it won't allow the retainer to close so you will have to remove a little of it or do it again until you get it just right. You want it so that you have to use your finger to close the retainer, but not so tight you have to use a tool to get it locked on there.
Also somethign that helps...tighten up the torx screws that hold the hardware onto the sissy bar...as tight as you can get it & they still are able to rotate.
Good luck....tinker with my idea and you will get it.
Mounted mine around 14,000+ miles ago and no rattles. Ive only had it off about 6 times so maybe that why? When the clamps lock they are still very snug
