Same here. Its called "reckless endangerment" and will get you silver bracelets but rarely enforced. Guess it is a lot of paperwork to write that ticket.

If I had the patience and time available, I could have gone to court. I could have pleaded that the conditions were good, visibility unrestricted, bike in perfect working order, traffic was minimal and that I could have stopped safely if need be; therefore I was traveling at a safe speed, albeit above the posted limit. Could have gone either way, I have heard "stories" of people getting their ticket dismissed that way. But who has got time for that crap.

I'd love to hear the last time any biker anywhere "endangered" someone else's life. You make that rule for someone driving a 2-ton suburban, but not for me on my ****ing BIKE.
