I have been thinking about putting a 19" or maybe even a 21" wheel on my fat bob. The question I have is ...has anyone done this mod.. if so did you have to change out your front fender? also soes anyone have any pistures of this mod?
Why not change em both? Not sure about the 21...Since it comes with 16 F/R I figured 18 F/R couldn't hurt the overall factory intended look.(80 spoke).

I like the look of a 21" wheel .... I was looking at your bike ... What size of rim do you have on it? Nice looking bike by the way!

Yes! I did it! I put a Performance Machine 19x3" w/ Dunlop tire on my 2012 Fat Bob. I didn't have to change the fender. There is almost no difference in total diameter of the 19x3" vs. the stock 16" front. (Same with the 18" rear which I changed at the same time.)
I love the look and handling of the new setup. I did consider leaving the 16" rear on, as I like how it looked a lot. I'm happy with what I did, but I could still see just changing the front. I always loved the look of the old WideGlides when they had a 19" front. My chopper has a 16/19" combo.
