The fuelpak stays connected but is hidden under the seat.

The power vision gets plugged in, loads a map, then is removed. Only time it stays on the bike is when using the autotune feature
it'll give ya a coupla more gauges if ya do keep it hooked up. the autotune feature is nice for a good power map. you'll want to then use that and thin it out a bit if you want an economap
and since ya can load a few maps on it. it makes it easier to fiddle with it when trying to solve decel popping. or tweak gas mileage

Wow! I was just watching the video on Dynajet website. Impressive! So once I flash my ECU I can remove the unit? I can't have a tuner mounted to the bars due to the fact that I park my bike at work and it would walk away in no time!

Not sure if I really need all that adjustability? I'm only doing an exhaust and intake.

yes.

basically:
you can pay a few hundred for harleys canned stage 1 map.
you can pay a coupla hundred for a fuelpak or pcv and use a canned map.
you can pay a coupla hundred for a fuelpak or pcv and get a 1 time map for another coupla hundred.
you can pay a few hundred for a PV and let it map itself.
or pay a buncha money for something that is continuously mapping.

if you autotune you'll want to log in 100 mile or so increments to flash and repeat that a coupla times. but you can hook it up ( drop the PV in your saddlebag or a backpack strapped to the backseat) go for a nice ride ( a lap around the island?), flash and then stow on a shelf it till the next ride.

it probably is more than you need if your only doing a stage1. but its not a whole lot more than any of the other options and will still be useful if you decide to go further.

Wow! You make a really good argument! PV it is then!

Last question. Is it possible to use it on multiple bikes?

it marries itself to a bike. you can spend $200 bux per additional bike as long as they use the same style ecu. basically you have 4 pin diag ports or 6pin diag ports (canbus). make sure to get the correct one for your bike.

I'm not 100% but I believe you can only get 1 additional licence per unit. Otherwise folks would split the cost of one unit and get 5 or 6 lic. Or a shifty guy would buy 1 and pimp it out to all his customers!

I never mount my Power Vision just put it in my Side Bag .
The Power Vision does a lot more and I mean a lot more .

You can adjust the idle up or down same with warmup RPM .
Adjust you speed-o-meter and much much more .

Also you never know when the Mods will stop .

they sell several licenses. the tune license specifically says unlimited bikes at $199 per bike.

Unless you plan on doing internal engine work, tuners other than the fuelpak are a waste of money.
