Just sold my crf450 this summer... what a beast! Personally I liked the IMS Pro-4s. On the upside you should be able to clean the mud off your boots real easy now!

Yea the whole idea is that I saved a bunch of cash by remembering and trying these parts out on the Harley, and they actually ending up working.
I hated the pegs the bike came with. The rubber pegs just dont work for me, I was constantly slipping and sliding on them, which sparked my mind to the thought of OEM pegs from my MX bike I had because I actually upgraded and put IMS pegs on the Honda. And while looking for the pegs in the bin I saw the risers. It really worked out for the best.
Being on a budget, I was trying to find the least expensive route when it came to risers. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. I purchased the Drag Specialties 1.7" risers ( BS that you have to buy top clamp separately ) and when I got home to assemble them, they were so crooked I couldn't believe it. The cast job they did was disgusting. The black coating was over-sprayed and careless. I would recommend anyone to stay away from their line of product after that.
So being on a budget, I was pretty excited and wanted to inspire anyone else that has a bin of old MX parts to give it a wack.
Let me guess. X sport bike rider? The pegs are cool but I like the DK Beartraps better.
Not quite sure what you mean by X Sport Bike rider.
I have been racing moto since I was 8, now that im 21 and on my own there really isn't the budget for it unfortunately. But Downhill Mountain Biking and the Harley are filling the void pretty well.
And I am brand new to Harleys, picked up my 02 FXD almost 2 months ago with 2,080 miles on her. So far I love it and glad I didnt listen to most of my friends telling me to buy a crotch rocket!
