I have around 250 miles on my new FXDC and every now and then I will feel\hear a loud click coming from my front brake when applying them. This only happens occaisonally so I dont know what it could be . I am gonna call the dealer to see what they say but was wonderin if any one here had this issue.

Vented Brake rotors create a clicking vibration that resonates through front end of the bike. Notice that it only occurs when the front brakes are being used and that the clicking or vibrations slow down as the rpms of the brake rotor slows down.
I get the samething, its the floating pad moving the few millimeters forward in the caliper housing and making contact with the caliper housing from being dragged forward by the application of pressure to the disc. I have noticed that I hear it more often when I have to "slam" on the brake and not so much when I apply slow steady pressure.
If you apply the rear brake only (when stopped) and give a good repetitive compression/expansion to the front forks and still here the noise, then you more than likely have a loose neck bolt / problem in the neck hardware being loose. I have heard this noise and pulled the neck bolt cap and the neck bolt was loose and I could turn it by hand.
Its a 13 FXDC ,definately the front brake , I spoke to the dealer and they said the same thing as Blueangel73 and junkster said. Its the floating rotor and its normal but I could bring it in if I wanted to . I think its okay, it stops fine and all just never had anything like that on my Sportster when it was new.
