RSD Preload Adjusters

Anyone running these ever had this happen?

I changed out my spacer yesterday and when I did the plunger in the adjuster slipped out with its o-ring. I put it back and re-installed everything. I found this leak from the top today after my ride home.

Check the o-ring, it could be torn.
BTW I am thinking to get the same RSD contrast cut caps in a couple months.

Torn or not seated properly is my guess. I can hear air hissing by when I put weight on the forks.

I'm gonna put it on the jack and pull them apart to check before I hit the road again.

I think those o-rings should be easy to find, Napa you go.
You shouldn't hear any hissing sound at all.

Mine haven't done that, but I could see how that O ring could get cut upon assembly.

Well I contacted RSD through their website and requested the o-ring size. I got an email reply a few minutes later requesting my address so they could send me a pair of new o-rings. That's some pretty nice customer support.
