Hello everyone, after a 3 year break from riding I picked up a used bone stock 11 wide glide in showroom cond w only 144 miles. This is my 5th Harley (including 1 Buell). So far I'm really liking the bike. My last 2 Harley's have been baggers so I wanted something different. I have put on V&H slip ons, a fat bob seat and a windvest windshield. I enjoy this forum and just wanted to say hello.
Nice Bike How do you like the Windvest Windshield ?
I would like a Shield at times but never found one to work well .
I like the Windvest so far. I got the 14" x14". The wind hits at about the top of my helmet. Im 5'10". Probably could have gone with the 16" tall shield but the 14" works as designed. Still feel wind and very little buffeting. I don't feel like I'm going to get blown off the bike or my helmet will get ripped off my head when riding a freeway speeds.
