My 18" apes work well for cars. The bars easily clear the mirrors. Just need to dodge the bigger SUVs.

I have 14 inch narrow apes with 2 inch risers and split lanes. The freeway was shut down for over 5 hours for a bad accident and fire I was able to cut right thru for 25 miles.

Why the heck would you risk some jackass running over you while you're stopped in traffic?
Start thinking about all the available options, man.

You live in California, and I've lived in California, and other states. Tell me somethin' about reality.

so while your stationary in traffic your options are
a) move into the gap between cars ( lane splitting)
b) get run over.

am i missing any?

However, I deal with shitty traffic every single morning, and the shape and width of the stock bars do not allow lane splitting as much as my z-bars did, so I'm looking for a worthy substitute. I'm thinking of Biltwell's H-bar handlebars:

They seem uncomfortable and too narrow, but people only speak wonders of them, what do you guys think? If you have other handlebar suggestion for effective lane splitting, you're more than welcome to post about it, thanks!
I like those H-Bars. I have seen a few of those on bikes lately, they look cool.

Looks like some of your reflectors fell off your safety vest. Time to park it for the season bro.

You're missing a lot. If you care about a wife, children, parents, you probably shouldn't be riding a motorscooter.

So is life in general... Possibly you need to sell your bike and pickup something "less offensive/dangerous"
