Air Ride

Hey gents, I'm about to pull the trigger on an air ride system for my Superglide. There are a couple kits on Ebay for pretty cheap. The one I think I'd like has chrome Bilstein shocks for $639. I'm not interested in spending twice that amount for one of the big name kits, so does anyone have any experience with the kit on Ebay? Anyone know a reason that kit is a bad idea?

google harley home made air ride, i have done about 5 now they ride awesome and can be built under $200

Thanks Joe. I've thought about that. I just want the rear end to be able to sit super low. As soon as I get my Switchback fender stripped and welded up it's also going on and I want the rear of it to be deep in the weeds. Those Bilsteins will go down to 9 3/4".

I see that those Monroes goes down that low, but they are ugly. By the time I have to add in the solenoid, you are almost to the price of the kit with the black shocks.
