So been around on this site for years with the different bikes I have had, incredible resource of knowledge...
2 weeks ago i decided to get rid of my 2009 FLHTC, just getting too heavy for the old knees and move back to something comfortable and exciting (Im just not ready for a trike yet)
Test drove almost everything in the Dyna and Softail line and what spoke to me the most was the Switchback.
So after puttnig 500 miles on it in the last 2 weeks I brought it back to the dealer to have a few things done.
Stage one with VH Slip ons, Aux Light Package along with all LED's front and rear, Boom Audio and I put on when I first brought her home a Klock Werks windshield and Saddleman Solo seat ... So far so good, great choice for me and rides like its on rails.
I do miss my California riding days of year round, but Ill keep riding till the first snow fall
Is that Candy Orange? If so, good choice! Looks like a nice bike. How much heavier are the Switchback's compared to a SGC or a Fat Bob? How does the bike start? is it based off a SGC or which model?
Its a 2013 leftover in the Ember Red Sunglow, I liked the Amber Whiskey color on the 2014 but for 4k more than this one, no thanks.. Bike weights 718 they claim and the Fat Bob is at 706 so no real noticeable difference. I think all the Dynas carry the same frame, just the front end on this one is different... Great bike for the money, fast, handling and comfort all was better than expected

Congrats, and nice color choice. My wife and I just got one for each of us. She's got the red like yours. Nice add ons. Bike looks great. Thought your description of it's handling was spot on.
