So I have a Brother who offered to hook me up with a spare set of FXDXT shocks he had. I am thinking about putting them on my '12 Wide glide. I know the front end will need to be raised up as well but i already have a set of Fat Bob trees i want to put on which will raise the front end 2 inches. My question is how do you guys think it will look that much higher? You will be able to see between the top of the rear tire and the fender. Also where can i get an extended kick stand? thanks guys
Jp cycles on that kickstand
As far as it being taller. It dont bother me at all on a dyna... Looks a little silly on a sporty but do you have bags? Its not a noticeable if you do.
Bang for the buck tho... I love my fxdxt suspension.
Id look into a kickstand off a fxdxt... I would think harley still makes them
One thing to keep in mind also is all the new bikes have chopped fenders basically... Id just a jack and lift your bike a couple inches and stand back and take a look
I didn't get two inches of lift when I put fat Bob trees on my 10 WG. I only saw about 1". I'm going up to 13" rear shocks for a better performing bike
