06+ dyna detachable luggage rack?
Hi,
Wondering if anybody has the width of the rack and the distance between the docking points on the detachable rack
I am interested to see if it fits on a 2010 wide glide?

2010 FXD: the inside dimension where the flush mount bolts pass thru the luggage rack and connect to the side plates and sissy bar is 7 1/4". I cant help you on the distance between the docking points

Good onya ynots, but its the one like a motherwell rack that harley makes and it attaches to the docking points where sissy bar normally attaches
Part no. 53511-06, i know it says not compatible for 2010 wide glide but sometimes there is some anomalies

I have that rack for my O6 Super Glide. I will take measurements when I go home for lunch and post them here.

its the distance between the fender struts thats the issue not the distance between the docking points . the docking points on all 06+ dynas are the same distance.
if i remember correctly the '10 wide glides are a 1/2 inch wider than the streetbobs. so it should fit with some bending and stretching.

Hi,
Thanks for that, was at dealer the other day and parts guy reckon not much difference in width of fenders ie, strut to strut, but as usual they didnt have one in stock to pull out and try
