Thanks bro, your bike has been an inspiration. Although I have wanted apes for quite sometime. I wanted them on my old bike too, but knew I was trading her in for the Wide Glide, so didn't pull the pin.

Pictures don't do any bike justice in my opinion, and this is definitely no exception. I installed poly bushings, but have noticed a bit flex. But I havn't torqued them down all the way yet either. I plan on getting some longer bolts, since they are just barely long enough to get the nut on without lock washers. Then I will torque them down to spec and see how they do. They should be solid then I think.

All in all, it hasnt been cheap. Looking right at a $900 project so far, excluding tools I didn't have (brake bleeder etc).

Im planning on a chrome bullet headlight. That will be next on the list along with chrome Joker Machine fork mounted turn signals.

Thanks bro. Half of the reason I went with apes was for my back and neck comfort. The other is that they look righteous!

i just did mini apes on my super glide, it does look good but i have bone fusion and 4 screws in my lower back, it does help! good looking bike, enjoy it while you can!
