I like it, will look really nice once it's painted to match! I might have to get one and see if I like it better than my Gauntlet. I am really happy with the Gauntlet, but I'm always up for switching things up!
I'm liking the looks of it. But wtf is the deal with MS not making fork clamps for o5 superglide and other bikes with 39mm forks? How hard can it be to make the same clamp in a smaller size? blah
The clamps that came with the kit have many different positions you can use to make them smaller. For my forks they are in the largest slot. Might work with the slightly smaller forks on one of the other notches. I'll take a photo of this tomorrow.
Looks like I'm a little late to this party but to me it looks like a direct shot at the AN fairing. GOOD!
I have had the Gauntlet on my eBay Watch List for over a year but just can't seem to hit the buy button due to MS's bulky and expensive trigger lock system. You know, sometimes HD just gets it right like they did with their quick release cam lock fittings that leave nothing behind.
Overall, the new MS fairing is very good looking and still pretty good looking at even $300. I'm sure it will be an outstanding seller for them this year.
PS: Having ridden with fly screens, bullets, bikinis and chopped down windsheilds, the $300 Rifle Roadster is still my first choice with the similar priced Gauntlet 2nd on my FXDL but only due to my desire for just a bit more than minimum wind protection. For sport looks, this cafe is the one and would look completely badass in color matched Nugget Yellow on my 1200S!

The Cafe Fairing was $150 and the trigger lock kit another $150. So all in pre-paint for $300 for this option. Still need to paint so hopefully thats not too bad.
Exactly. Lotta nice options in the $300 range. Personally I just dispise the old HD/current MS docking system. MS's dock needs to be $99 to be competative. The $150 fairings/winscreens hit a good price point and paired with their REQUIRED & PROPRIETARY docking system, a new buyer should get a MSRP package price of $249.95 or even $225 wholesale on eBay.
I have a feeling the reason the WG is left out is because this is a tiny fairing. The way the MS stuff mounts, wouldn't the plates hang out past the fairing itself? And the hardware is too expensive? Have you seen the stuff? Super high quality stuff that lasts. They have the best stuff in the industry, everybody elses is flimsy and cheap compared to them. I'll pay the little extra for the good stuff
Some nice looking fairings out there , but this one looks badass. I will look forward to seeing it mounted with hd quick release clamps. Then i will toss out some more coin and purchase. Tks guys for all the info great forums to get some ideas for my bike. sine i have been on the forums, i have purchased approx 8 grand in accesories must be an addiction.
Sorry to bring up an older thread, but I have a question on this. Has anyone used this that is familiar with the AN fairing? I have the ness fairing, like the look, but just feel cheap and flimsy. is this guy more solid/quality? its hard to tell from the pics.
thanks!
