Default Drags versus slip ons?

If you hada smallamount of cash to spend and you could get nice looking drag pipes and slip on mufflers for the roughly the same price, which would you go with.
I already know about air filters and mapping and such.
Thanks

JMO, but I would go with the slip-ons, Drag pipes work great if your wide open all the time, but if your riding on the street they really are not the hot setup. the slip-ons will keep the torque curve in the best opperating range, but then again that is JMO. hope this helps.

IMHO drag pipes do not sound as good as slip-ons
They crackle.
To get a more dark sound your baffles need to be wider than the first part of your exhaust

Slip On's. A good set that has baffles. Then you can use the baffles to adjust for the sound you want. Low and mid range torque is what you want for riding.

I agree with most of the people here. Slipons to keep your power. Unless of course you just want to try and look and sound cool and don't care if you bike feels like it's dragging a piano, then go with drag pipes.

Running drag pipes is just like shooting yourself in the foot. Your bike will have very low bottom end power and probably flat spots toocompared to running mufflers. Your engine needs to some back pressure.
