i am new here to this forum and just picked up a 1996 dyna convertible. it has mag wheels on it with dual discs on the front, i seen a set of spoke wheels for sale that are also from a 1996 dyna but only had single front brake. should i be able to bolt my rotors on and go or will it not have the mounting place for the right side rotor? here is the picture of them and to me it looks like theres nothing there for a rotor to mount to but the only spoke wheels i ever messed with had drum brakes so i dont know much lol. im just hoping these wheels will be a direct swap, any info will be greatly appreciated.
Im sorry I cant answer your question of brakes, but I can tell you that cleaning spokes is a bitch compared to mags, I have spokes that I love to have shiny on my wide glide. she sure is perty when clean, but like all perty females, she is high maintenence!

yeah i hear you on that, i would actually prefer stock mags painted black but i am on a budget and the front wheel does not match the back it is a 19" 5 spoke , it does have the harley sheild stamped into so i dont know what it came from but i dont like it. the only reason i am considering these spokes is because they already have decent tires and they are cheap. if i buy the original matching front mag and both new tires might cost a bit more.

I may be wrong, but I believe spoked wheels have a tubed tire. Tubed tires are dangerous.
people are fed such bs about tube tires, i have heard some of the craziest things about them, hahaha i perfer them, get a flat replace a tube not a whole tire, what is not to like
That front wheel you posted is a single disc wheel only,
as for tube tires , that is all I ever had over 30 years and never an issue and have never heard any horror stories about them, with that said every time I replace the tire I replace the tube
