Regarding the Bell Transition shield yep sure, $120 for a face shield, LOL I'll be ordering that right away...NOT. Besides, I don't think the results would be any better than my sunglasses and flip down sun shield.
I have considered the Sun Shade tint strips you install at the top edge of the visor.
Regarding the Off Road helmets I have a Troy Lee and while it does offer a nice sun visor the open face deal and Sun Glass deal is not as good as a Full Coverage.
My 15" fairing windshield does block helmet buffering and directs air above my head so I don't think the visor will cause me any issues. I will begin with as is and slowly trim it back to the minimum tha still offers me some eye shade relief with the minimum lip.

ive seen a few dudes wearing those helmets with the visors. To me they look like a dirt bike helmet meet a full face.
This is a serious question. Does the wind just feel like it is going to rip your head off at 80mph. Also i would think when you turn your head to check your blund spot it would feel terrible
Yeah. I forgot about the Fly. It's $100 too. The LS2 MX453 is even better and it's $149. These dual sport helmets are a revelation. Once you wear one, you won't like the street style FF.
completely agree with this! plus they are super light!

The older versions, yes, a little bit.
The newer models do a good job of letting air through while blocking sun and roost. Probably not the most practical long distance helmet; but very good for city commuting and canyon carving.
