First winter mod done
I was tired of how unfinished the lower stem looked on my FXDC so I decided to do some thing about it

The fact that you have a lathe is not lost on me. I'm going to assume you have a Bridgeport too?
I can have my ideas sketched out fairly quickly if you have a spare couple of weeks and some coffee/beer!

Now ya gotta polish the bottom of the tree.(in case anybody looks under there)
Then move the bulky sigs back to the handlebars so it cleans up the lines of that beautiful front end.

This was the first spare day I had in over a year, hope you aren't in a rush!
I plan on polishing the bottoms of the trees when it warms up. Shop was starting to get chilly.
very nice! that looks great. never used a Van Norman we use an old bridgport that gets the job done hahaha

I am gusseing that if you are like a lot of us that you were just looking for something to do?

I agree that the stand-offs would make a better difference in the looks of the bike than that spacer did. A nice, smooth stalk for the sigs would look nice...

Yep, it was a reason to fire up the machines. And that rusty stub did annoy me.
