questions about tank lifts

Not to rip on the folks that make these but they are simple to make. Imade two so far for friends and my own as well. 2 of them was two inch and no need to fuss with the fuel cross over it worked great. The 3 inch one i made was we did change the cross over line not a big deal at all.
I even want as far as welding in a tube the bolt want through for the top part where the tank reattaches. And put a front stiffing plate on them. Tools needed for the job was a drill press, Grinder, a decent vise, Mig welder, And about 8 inches i say of 1" by 3/16 mild steel and a metal tube that slides over the 3/8 bolt for the top. And i can tell there far better made then any i personally seen on the market. So take some pride make your own and do a awesome job of showing off your handy work

Thanks for all the feedback. I checked out the sites dead creek and dk. Both look nice, but I don't want to pay that much if I don't have to. Loved the custom ideas also. I went out to my garage looking to see if I have what I need to custom build one and I don't think I do. Just moved to Fl from Va recently and a bunch of my tools and all are still back home, so I might have to wait a bit unfortunately
