Default forgot about the oil's
So here in Pa. Freezing my gonadds off today wishing I still lived in Fla. Waiting for some riding weather when I remember with Thanksgiving, Deer season and Christmas I never finished my oil change. The week of Thanksgiving I tooke the bike out for a nice ride then pulled in to th garage and pulled all the drain plugs. And let the old Amsoil Syn drain. Figured I'd fill it back up the next day, as I sat here $h!t I forgot to fill it back up. So I wondering, No more like hopeing I have not caused any damage. So what do you all think. Thanks

Unless you ran it without oil, there is no damage.

Just sitting empty won't hurt anything, synth oil leaves a film that will last for years. Amsoil drained a fresh oil change from an Oldmobile engine in their early years, then ran it for several hours without any damage. But I wouldn't try that with my air cooled Harley...

If it's still sitting there empty, I'd wait till it got warm enough I could plug it back up without freezing my fingers. My garage is right about zero this morning, not going to do anything out there today!

If I were you, I would put a tag on it, so you don't accidently forget and fire it up without oil in it..

I would go put the oil back in it before I did forget (or someone else) and cranked it.
