Default eBay Front Fender

Posted the other day and didn't get much feedback. Getting ready to get 06 Super Glide repainted. Current fender has some damage. Is this aftermarket fender worth a $hit?

$50.00 on eBay:

Why the Wideglide fender? Did you change out trees?

I don't see why the fender wouldn't be fine if prepped and painted correctly. Have you looked at fiberglass ones also? might get more of a selection if you want to change the looks.

Yes, have converted to WG front end. I guess my biggest concern is thin sheet metal, flex, and cracking paint. Would like to stick with stock style fender.

I like the idea of this eBay fender not having rivets.

HD fenders are not the strongest so I wouldn't be too concerned with that one either.

On such a short fender, don't think it will vibe much.

I had a rear fender crack which is why my originally black Street Bob now looks the way it does...glad mine cracked!

Is that what prompted you to do the current paint set?

I remember back when you did it. Looks great. Your tank guttin' tutorial thread was awesome.

Yeah, I was looking for a rear fender in black when I came across this limited numbered set. I think it was only $800 for all 3 pieces brand new so I went for it.

Wasnt my first choice but I really do like it now.

It sucks that the tank gutting pics were lost by the hosting site as I did spend some time putting it all together.

you thought about running a wrap fender? that is what i would do. I think you have a 90 or 100 series front tire on there right? you should run this one, making a spacer would be easy, just trim up the edges and run this nice low and tight to that tire. would look great!, Slightly rotated back
