Thanks matto. That is the case for the standard rotors. The full floater versions DO NOT need to be machined. Thanks for the help tho.

It's starting to seem the deal I've been offered may not be too bad.

Who would buy used brake rotors? You have no idea what you are getting. Some things just need to be bought new...

Maybe it depends on the year. My father in law had a set I was gonna use but they weren't recessed. Oh well lol. I love my brembo swap. Well worth it

I don't know. The ones I purchased were new take offs and had runouts within factory spec with minimal wear. Guess I got lucky or the people I dealt with were honest.

When you use the fatbob lower the fender mounts dont line up. You will also need to buy an extra wheel spacer for the right side rotor if you are doing a wide glide front end as well as fender spacers.
You can use a touring dual brake line but need to bore out the fitting to fit your front brake master.
You will also need to play around with axle spacers to it sits proper.
This set up works well many have done it. Take your time think it out .
Been running mine with no issues ..

Ya, I got the DX so I have to worry about even less! From what I hear it's well worth the time and effort. Can't wait to get it all on my bike!

Yes, braided stainless. Takes less effort to engage. Huge improvement!
