10FatGliden, I see in your profile pic it looks like you had a Big Radius on your Glide, why did you switch? I'm trying to decide on a 2 into 1 and the V&H is on my list.
The main reason I switched was because the BR won't fit with the floorboard kit and I was tired of my legs getting tired on long rides. I actually still prefer the look of the BRs but the sound of the Bassani is way better and it has more performance potential when I want to do some motor work. Either way, they're both pretty damn good.
So ever since I installed the Bassani 1D5250 exhaust on my Fat Glide, I've been thinking there's just a little too much black in the middle of the bike. So I just received some brand new takeoff engine covers that I found on ebay. I got a cam cover, tranny side cover and tranny top cover. I can't wait to get them installed! I think it'll add some needed contrast in that part of the bike.
Let know if you interested in selling your wrinkle cam and tranny side cover.
Well I finally got the new covers installed. I'll get some better pics when we actually get some sun here in NY.
I think the lower middle of my bike looks more balanced with the rest of the bike now. I'm happy with the way it turned out. And I'm only 34, not 75. I don't think my bike looks like an old man's either lol.

Comparing the new pic with the old pic the chrome definitely looks better in my opinion.
By the way for you younger guys, I am 60 my good friends are 71, 74 and 80. They still ride bikes like they stole them, snowmobile at 100 MPH and fly airplanes upside down, right side up and sideways. And they can party like its 1964. Age is only a number if you want it to be!
My advice is don't over eat, drink only good quality liquor, have sex on a regular basis and get a good night's sleep. Pretty simple. Oh yea, stay hydrated.

Bike looks GREAT! I really like the chrome, black, and silver. All ties together very well. Nicely done!
