How do you clean spokes and hubs?

To get down into the hub area I use these. You can use them to detail the whole bike.

All good ideas. I'm not sure that I'd be comfortable using something abrasive but hey, if it works why not.
I cut a micro fiber cloth into 2" strips, add a little polish, and wrap a strip around the spoke and use a 'see saw' motion to clean/polish the spoke.
I tie one of the strips around the center hub of the wheel and go for a short ride.
The one thing that helps keep the spokes clean is to keep them clean all the time.
The biggest thing I've done to alleviate the brake dust problem is that I switched to Lyndall Z brake pads. I get close to zero brake dust and they work better in wet weather.
