It is a 1994 HD FXSTC. These bikes use TWO separate tanks and do not use our regular tank lift. It is a special tank lift kit, specifically for Split tanks.
All Dyna's, from 1999 - up use our regular tank lift kits and do not have this issue.
Kevin, can I do a rear lift. Just asking before I mess with it or remove it, I'm sure I'm not the first with this concern.

The split tank lift is a specialty item that we developed because of so many requests over the years. We have not delved into making a rear lift for them, but that does not mean it cannot be done. It may be something that you might want to experiment with.
As you know the front lift for the split tanks are far more complicated than the lift kits for the one piece tanks, so, while it may be a bit of a challenge, with some time and effort it may be possible.
Could just be a WG thing, I did the 2" also and have room to spare in the xover on my 14 FB.
Maybe its the angle that the petcock is attached to the tank? IDK but its a bit of angle, & I was able to position the new hose that DK supplied to best minimize strain & how tight of a turn the hose has to have (as it turns down).

Great kit, definitely worth it. This has to be the best look for the buck mod I have done so far!
