Default Handlebar risers. Stupid question

Looking to buy risers. I have whatever the stock setup is now. If I buy 2 inch risers will my bar height increase 2 inches? What is the stock height? 0? Or 1? If it's 1 then should I buy a 3 inch riser? As I said I'm sure this is stupid so keep smartass remarks to yourself.

Would be helpful if you told us what your bike is.

12 FXDC. I just read stock is 2". So I'll need 4" to go up two inches correct? Asking because I am buying them online and returns online suck.

Yes, they should be 2" and if you buy 4" risers you will gain 2" in height over what you have now.

If you buy a 4" riser, your bars will be 4" inches off the tree.

I saw a handy chart in the physical harley catalog showing the stock height & pullback. It was really helpful in deciding which size to purchase. I needed some pullback for my short arms.

EDIT: I found it online: http://s7d1.scene7.com/s7/brochure/f...iserDimensions
