Default Street bob fuel controller

So my vance and Hines pipes should be here tommorow and I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll need a power commander or move to a full auto tune
The original pipes are pythons with no baffles and the bike popped and crackled pretty consistently
It's an 06 but only has 4000 miles

Won't hurt to just try them without a tuner first.
The bike should be able to compensate for pipes.
If you swap the air intake then I would recomend a tuner.

It currently has a screaming eagle intake
It's what was on it when I bought it
Looks like I'll be dipping a little more Into the tax refund this year

I would not run a AC and pipes without a tuner. IMO

I'd at least get something basic from FuelMoto, they have something in every budget range and unlimited map support.

im not a fan of the stage 1 download. they just charge too much for it.

if all your doing is pipes and AC you might be able to get away without a tuner ( theres a ton of threads about it) . but a cheap piggyback tuner or some xieds would be better.

if you plan on going further in the future then getting a better tuner is probably a good idea. the autotune on my powervision got rid of the decel popping after a couple of tanks of city riding using its autotune feature.

Thanx for all of the advice
Given mine has such low miles I'm not touching the motor just yet, but in the future id love to punch it out to a 103 with some big cams
I decided to go with the PC V with auto tune just so when I do do that I won't have to order a tuner also
Ordered yesterday so I can't wait till it's above 20 out and I can see the differences
